Year-End Reflection
These pieces of work I feel show my true potential as a writer but also as a student. In both of these pieces I was able to really say what I wanted to say on the topics. I was able to speak my mind because of the freedom that was given to me while I was writing. My teachers let me choose what I wanted to do and in that way I was truly able to show my true thoughts. I see my past four years here at Frank McCourt High School and I notice that I have truly improved as a writer but also as a person. My thoughts and ways of thinking have changed. I now decide and choose things the way I see it for myself not the way others want me to see it. That is the true meaning of being independent. Next year when I begin college I will only find myself even more. I am excited for this upcoming year because I will experience even more challenges and resolve new problems.
